Introduction

This is a single-compartment steel locker manufactured in the UK to a consistent standard, available in three sizes, with a choice of three lock configurations and seven door colours. Suited to education, healthcare, leisure, and commercial environments where delivery certainty and specification compliance matter.

Lead Time and Delivery
Available on a confirmed 7 working day lead time from date of order, excluding the day of ordering. For projects operating to a phased delivery schedule, this lead time makes the Swift-X range a reliable option where standard-lead lockers would not meet programme requirements.

Free UK Mainland Delivery is included. Delivery excludes the Scottish Highlands and the following postcode areas: AB, BT, DD, IM, KY, KA, KW, PA, PH, HS, IV. Contact us prior to ordering if delivery to any of these areas is required, as additional charges apply.

Delivery is to commercial premises only. Residential delivery is not available for this product line.

Size Options:
Three size configurations are available:

The 300mm width is suitable for installations where corridor or bay width is constrained, or where the brief calls for a high-density locker run. The 450mm width offers a larger compartment appropriate where users need to store items beyond standard personal effects — outerwear, footwear, or equipment bags. All three configurations are pre-drilled for nesting, allowing multiple units to be bolted into a bank without additional fixing hardware.

Lock Options:
Three locking configurations are available to suit different access management requirements:

• Cam lock with 2 keys per lock — standard locking with a 2,000 differ key set. A master key scheme is available and recommended for large installations where management override is required across multiple units.
• Hasp & Staple — carcass prepared for padlock use. Suitable for sites operating an existing padlock scheme or where a standardised padlock specification is preferred.
• 4-digit mechanical combination lock — keyless access, eliminating key management overhead entirely. Appropriate for high-turnover environments, shared facilities, or sites where issuing and recovering keys at scale is operationally impractical. Master keys are not supplied but are available on request.

Paint Finish
Each unit receives a three-stage pre-treatment process followed by phosphate coating prior to powder application. The finish is one coat of epoxy polyester full gloss powder, stoved at 180 degrees, producing a surface resistant to chipping, abrasion, and the cleaning regimes typical of commercial and institutional environments.

The powder coat incorporates a germ guard anti-bacterial compound, which is relevant to healthcare, education, and leisure specifications where surface hygiene is a requirement. The carcass is powder-coated Light Grey RAL 7035 as standard. Door colour is to customer specification from the range listed below.

On larger installations, specifying different door colours per zone, floor, or user group is a practical way to aid navigation and user identification without altering the structural specification. All door colours are available at the same unit price.

Cleaning & Maintenance
External surfaces should be cleaned periodically with warm soapy water or a foaming cleaner as part of a routine facilities maintenance schedule. Hinges and lock mechanisms should be lightly oiled as required using a general-purpose light oil. Avoid solvent-based or abrasive cleaners, which will damage the powder coat surface.

Frequently asked questions
Is a master key scheme available for large installations?

Yes. Master keys are available to order when placing your initial order. We recommend specifying master keys upfront for any installation involving more than ten units, as retrospective key orders can be subject to additional lead times.

Can these lockers be nested into a bank on site?

Yes. Every unit is pre-drilled to allow nesting. Units bolt together directly using the pre-drilled holes in the carcass — no additional fixings or brackets are required. Call us if you need guidance on bank configurations before placing your order.
